Be Mine

Originally designed as a gender neutral birthday bash, The Sweet Shoppe can easily be adapted for a Valentine Party for little ones. Let citrus colors and sweetheart candies be your inspiration for the perfect sugar rush.

To decorate your party, start with this bright sweet design from Jenean Morrison's California Dreamin' collection. (1) Cover your candy bar table in this fabric for a bright punch upon entrance. Use this bright green polka dot fabric from Amy Butler (2) for the activity tables or for the lunch tables.

Along with the candy that will be set up on the Candy Bar table (discussed further tomorrow), make simple yarn pom-pom banners (3) by stringing together pom-pom balls and hanging them around the parameter of the table. You may also add a "Have a Sweet Valentine" sign too.

Add these cute little pinwheels (4) on the table for flair. Use the other pinwheels to decorate the activity tables. Make small and large lollipop trees (6) similar to these by Martha Stewart.
