A Purrrfect Valentine

Recently Roses and Rhubarbs was contacted to develop a sweet Kitten birthday party for a three-year old. The party was going to be held over Valentine weekend, so we decided to make it a Valentine Birthday party. This purrrrfect party could easily be modified for a simple Valentine bash for your sweetheart.

Invite your guests by constructing Valentine Kitten invitations using the vintage kitten prints below from Peggy Loves Vintage. Simple pink card stock, doily hearts and these prints would make the perfect way to introduce your theme to your guests.

To decorate, use shabby chic roses with variations of pinks and reds. Cover your dining room table with a white tablecloth and use a simple rose fabric from Warm Biscuit (1) for an overlay. Place a cute white and pink stuffed kitten (2) in the center and surround the kitten with rolled balls of pink yarns (3). Frame pictures of roses and kittens (4) like this one from Wild Card Trading Co. and place on dining room table and buffet table. Use simple pink and white polka dot paper products (5) from Target. Hang multiple packs of paper poms (6) in Pink Berry.
